Sharon Webb

I received a call from Ken asking if I could help them plan their wedding as he wanted to relieve the stress it was causing Viktoriya. How amazing is that! I just loved how involved Ken was in the planning process, and appreciated our coffee meetings at his home. The love and respect Ken & Viktoriya showed each other was inspiring; I could just sit back and watch these two…they are so cute!

It was very evident from the beginning that they wanted a wedding that was personal to them and their guests. Their guest list was just over 50, so it truly was shared with those close to them. We had just over two months to plan this wedding. Typically one would think that wouldn’t be possible, but everything fell into place, and they truly didn’t stress over the small stuff.  Ken & Viktoriya chose to have their ‘reveal’ and photos taken prior to their ceremony. There was only a bit of rain just before the ceremony, which made for some great photos of course! Their beautiful ‘sunny’ ceremony took place on the patio overlooking the beautiful golf course. The wedding party consisted of Ken’s nieces and nephew, which was so adorable! Pastor Phillip had a wonderful message as he brought these two into marriage. Following the ceremony was the cocktail hour on the patio, allowing them some extra time to take their family photos.  Then it was time for their reception that took place inside the venue, which was beautifully decorated by Party On Rentals.  They had a buffet-style menu, which was unreal!! In Viktoriya’s culture, food is the primary highlight in weddings, and this was evident at their wedding, and Chef Michael did not disappoint! They had many personal touches at their wedding, and one of my favourite was Ken & Viktoriya serving wedding cake to their guests.  I also thought it was quite special when they went to each table and had their photo taken with all their guests. What a great way to look back and remember all the guests that were there.   After the formal part of their reception they had their dance. I will never forget the dancing moves their nieces and nephew had…and the energy, unreal! The highlight of the night though was the releasing of Sky Lanterns. What a beautiful night they had for this, so calm and peaceful.  I just had to pause, give thanks and cherish the moment…until I had to run onto the golf course to rescue some lanterns while avoiding the sprinklers; it was a bit comical I might add!

“It was a pleasure to work with Sharon Webb as our Wedding Planner through the whole process! Sharon is very responsible, thoughtful, competent, well organized and detail oriented with many creative ideas! She requested quotations from different vendors and recommended the best cost saving options helping us to keep the cost down, prepared our wedding day itinerary and more importantly made sure that everything went as scheduled. The cake and flowers arrived on time, the deck for the ceremony and the banquet room were beautifully set up and decorated.
